Cosmetics

Amphigory carries their own line of makeup. I've tried the white pressed powder, and it covers very well, better than Manic Panic's Virgin White, and didn't irritate my skin. They also carry many cool shades of lipstick and eyeshadow.

Hot Topic carries Morbid Makeup. They sell black lipstick and nailpolish (also available in glow-in-the-dark) which can be ordered online for about $4 each, or there is a listing of local stores on their webpage.

Manic Panic makes six shades of foundation including white, and have powder in Virgin White. They also make just about any color you could want of lipstick and polish.

MAC brand is what I wear on a daily basis. I haven't tried everything they have because they're slightly expensive, but what I do use is a foundation/powder combo compact called Studio FX (approx. $22) which is very easy to apply and looks very natural. The light color I use (NC-15) does not have an obvious orange or pink cast to it. They also carry many offbeat colors of polish, lipstick, and shadow. The counter help is usually very helpful and will give you their opinion on how to apply stuff/what colors to use. They usually have a counter inside of Nordstrom's department store. In larger cities they may have their own shop at the mall.

Newbury has a lot of different brands of cosmetics including Urban Decay and Manic Panic polish, lipstick/liner, eyeliner/shadow/lashes, body paint and dye.

Nightmare Factory sells inexpensive makeup and theatrics online including liquid white, creme white, cake makeup and grease paint. They also sell a translucent powder to matte and set grease or creme makeup, inexpensive black lipstick, and black nailpolish that glows under a blacklight.

Urban Decay I havent tried much of, mostly because I'm not a big glitter person. They do make some damn tasty lipgloss though. =D There's a listing of stores at their website, but I think you can usually find a small counter at Nordstrom's. You can also order Urban Decay products at Newbury Comics.

Wet 'n Wild (Fantasy Makers) produces a cheap lipstick called Black Creme. It's very inexpensive, but is usually only in stores around Halloween. Their polish is a little on the thin and chippy side, but it's very easy to find year-round in nearly any American drug store.

Zauders brand is usually found around Halloween in drug stores, and sometimes can be found in Halloween-type catalogs. It really dries out your lips (and makes them peel!), though it's very dark and inexpensive. I would not recommend wearing this stuff every day, as your lips will begin to look like they've undergone a chemical peel. You can purchase their glow-in-the-dark polish at Newbury Comics.

Hairdye

Manic Panic makes just about any color you could ever want of hairdye. The colors don't usually last very long, but they're very easy to find. You can order online from one of the many links below, or go to a Hot Topic.

Punky Colors seem to last longer than Manic Panic. That may all be in my head though...
